Because of the increased level of sophistication in the Arapaho 2000 database, the Arapaho II On Disk databases are not compatible with Arapaho 2000. However, you can convert your Arapaho II on Disk data into Arapaho 2000.

Arapaho 2000 can convert your Arapaho II on Disk data by taking the Convert option on the File Menu of Arapaho 2000. The system prompts you for the location of your Arapaho II On disk data file (USER.DBF). Use the explorer to point to the location of the User.dbf file. The system will prompt you if it is unable to locate the user file in the selected directory. In Arapaho II On Disk the User.dbf file was located in the Arapaho\files\ sub-directory. Once you select the file, the Import option will be enabled and when you press the import button, all of your patch information from Arapaho II On Disk will be entered into Arapaho 2000.

Some have asked why Arapaho 2000 is priced at $89.95, suggesting that perhaps Arapaho Software is reaping a huge profit by
charging too much for Arapaho 2000. This is not so. Arapaho has
never and will never profit from it's software.
Setting aside the thousands of man hours we've expended without
compensation, Arapaho 2000 utilizes complex graphical routines made possible by
sophisticated ActiveX controls. These controls were written by third
parties and are present in many major software applications.
Arapaho Software must pay substantial licensing fees to these companies to be able to legally distribute these controls with
Arapaho 2000. It would be impossible to sell for less an application
utilizing these ActiveX controls unless we were to: a.) subsidize further the
software price out of our own pocket; or b.) illegally distribute unlicensed
controls, neither of which Arapaho Software will do.
